Case/Care Manager – Leadership: Recognizing the case manager who excels at providing guidance and leadership.
Case/Care Manager – Patient Outreach: Honoring the case manager who delivers extraordinary care to at-risk or other populations.
Certified Rehabilitation Counselor: Recognizing professionals who empower injured workers and the medically/mentally disabled to reach the highest level of function and employability.
Chaplain: Recognizing professional chaplains who reach across all faiths, provide support and spiritual care through empathic listening and demonstrate an understanding of persons in distress.
Clinical Nurse – Leadership: Recognizing skilled nursing professionals who excel at providing guidance and leadership to their teams or other healthcare professionals.
Clinical Nurse – Patient Outreach: Honoring skilled nursing professionals who deliver extraordinary care to patients who enter the healthcare system from all access points.
Disability Manager: Saluting those involved in the management of patients injured or disabled on duty or with an injury or chronic condition.
Disease Manager: Recognizing clinical professionals with expertise in various disease states who educate and empower patients with chronic conditions to gain control of their lives.
Ethicists: Recognizing professionals who assist the healthcare team in ethical decision making.
Geriatric Care Manager: Seeking top specialists who work with the elderly and their families to address health and life challenges.
Healthcare Educator: Recognizing healthcare education professionals who provide learning opportunities for either consumers, students at colleges/universities, or new and existing professionals to advance the fields of medicine, nursing, social work, and allied healthcare professionals.
Hospice/Palliative Care Professional: Recognizing professionals who work with patients and families to ensure dignity through the continuum of life.
Hospitalist: Honoring physicians dedicated to the delivery of comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients.
Infection Control Professional: Saluting professionals in the area of Infection Control for their work in combating hospital and community acquired infections throughout the care continuum.
Legal Nurse Consultant: Seeking specialists who use their clinical expertise to consult on medical-related issues.
Life Care Planner: Honoring professionals who use their clinical expertise to determine lifetime needs of those who are faced with catastrophic/chronic conditions.
Medical Director: Honoring physicians who provide guidance, support and direction to those who coordinate care and act as liaisons to the treating physicians in both the payer and provider sectors.
Medical Translator / Interpreter: A Translator is the professional that translates written messages from one language to another. Translation Services is the rendering of written communication from one language into another language.

An interpreter is a professional who mediates between speakers of different languages. The goal of the medical interpreter is to provide accurate, complete and professional interpretation; to serve as a bridge in the communication gap that exists in the provider and patient encounter.

Nurse Practitioner: Outstanding advanced nursing professionals who work in all specialties and are responsible for diagnosing, treating and managing patients throughout the continuum of care.
Nutritionist/Registered Dietitian: Honoring professionals from the field of nutrition, who assist patients and families with special dietary needs, educate and inform legislative representatives and other stakeholders responsible for setting nutritional policies, and educate children and adults about the importance of healthy eating and exercise to combat obesity.
Occupational Therapist: Recognizing members of the rehabilitation team who help patients improve their ability to perform tasks in living and working environments.
Patient Advocate: Recognizing professionals from the emerging field of patient advocacy who empower consumers to have a voice and help them navigate the complex healthcare system.
Pharmacist: Honoring pharmacologists responsible for education, medication management, dispensing and ensuring quality and safety in managed care and the inpatient and retail settings.
Physician Assistant: Recognizing the physician assistant as an important member of the healthcare team who practices medicine and delivers a broad range of medical and surgical services to diverse populations across settings.
Physical Therapist: Seeking physical therapists who help patients restore, maintain and promote overall fitness and health.
Psychologist: Saluting specialists who provide counseling and psychotherapy for patients and families to address life challenges.
Public Health Specialist: Recognizing professionals who work with health and quality of life issues for entire communities.
Quality Manager: Awarding those committed to patient safety, health care quality and effective care.
Rehabilitation Nurse: Honoring nurses who work with patients in the rehabilitation setting.
Respiratory Therapist: Saluting professionals who specialize and work with patients faced with respiratory diseases.
Risk Manager: Recognizing individuals who analyze accidents, incidents and catastrophes in healthcare settings/organizations and seek to reduce the risk of future occurrences.
Social Worker: Recognizing social workers who excel at assisting patients and families by educating, empowering and counseling them to cope with issues impacting their lives.
Speech - Language Pathologist: Honoring specialists who assess/diagnose/treat and prevent speech- and cognitive-related disorders.
Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist: Honoring specialists who work with private individuals, lawyers, courts and public agencies about employment potential and loss of income due to physical, emotional, educational or employment limitations.
Wellness Professional: Seeking professionals who empower individuals to change behaviors and ensure they have the tools to achieve their goals.

Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse: Recognizing the innovative work of professionals who meet the needs of patients with wounds, ostomies and continence challenges.
