The Dorland Health People Awards program fixes its spotlight on you—the individual practitioner, the in-the-trench team member, the daily care provider and the leaders who inspire, motivate and empower professionals—by recognizing healthcare professionals who are making a difference in transitioning the patient through the complicated healthcare landscape.
From the publisher of Case In Point, Case Management Resource Guide, Directory of Children, Youth and Families Services and DorlandHealth.com, the Dorland Health People Awards set the benchmark for outstanding patient care and systems delivery achieved across the diverse healthcare team.
From addiction counselors and ethicists to case managers and social workers, the Dorland Health People Awards honor the diligent, the influential—in short, the special—practitioners who coordinate and provide care. To enter, you may nominate your colleagues or you may self-nominate; either way, we want to meet the select professionals in our health care arena and bestow them with the recognition they deserve.
A special emphasis is placed on professionals who spearhead efforts to make healthcare safe, quality-driven and cost-effective for all.
The awards program culminates with a ceremony at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., on October 4, where the award winners will be announced amid a banquet and celebration. Additionally, all winners and honorable mentions will be featured in a special issue of Case In Point magazine and on DorlandHealth.com.
