I am a Director of Case Management for an LTAC organization. Our caseload per CM ideally is 15-20. There may be some occurrences where for a brief time case load may go as high as 25 but only for a very short period.

I'm curious to know what the benefits are to a steady caseload? Optimal care? Quality? Costs?
