IPad use bolsters efficiency among docs, study finds
Medical residents at the University of Chicago found that iPads helped them become more effective on their rounds, a study in the Archives of Internal Medicine revealed. The residents reported that the tablets saved them about an hour a day by giving them access to patient records and allowing them to prescribe care more efficiently.
